About  Dr. Nizzi

Dr. Nizzi currently serves as lead clinical psychologist at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to advise the U.S. Department of Defense on principles and strategies for the standardization, assessment, and validation of SOPs for both face and hand transplantation, as part of the Congressionally Directed Reconstructive Transplant Research Program. 

A world-leading scientist, Dr. Nizzi earned 2 PhDs and 4 Masters from Harvard University and Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. She is the CEO of Precision Psychologie PLLC and a Clinical Faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine; Jane & Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience; and Stewart & Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA. 

In her private practice, Dr. Nizzi teaches evidence-based wellness and cognitive optimization techniques to high-achieving clients. Her clients include senior-level executives of multinational companies and leading figures in sports and entertainment. 

She was named 2018 Harvard Horizons Scholar for her work with U.S. Veterans and recipients of a face transplant. As the immediate Past President and the current Chair of the Board of Trustees at Harvard Alumni for Mental Health INC, she received the Harvard Alumni Outstanding Community Impact award in 2023.
